The Machhapuchre Model Trek is a newly opened trekking area in the Annapurna conservation region, offering a fresh and less crowded trail. This route covers seven major villages that provide ample opportunities for trekking and hiking activities, allowing travelers to experience the hidden cultures of the rural valley. The trek also provides stunning views of the Mount Fishtail (Machhapuchre), Himchuli, Mount Mardi, and Annapurna Himalayan ranges. The region is rich in vegetation and offers scenic beauty with streams running alongside, providing a true experience of the typical cultures and lifestyles of the different ethnic groups in the area.

While some of the villages have developed local homestays to target tourists, we make camping arrangements for the entire Machhapuchre Trekking as part of our 6-day trekking itinerary from and to Pokhara. The actual trekking days are 6 days, but our 11-day itinerary is designed to explore Kathmandu and Pokhara. After arriving in Kathmandu, we provide an extra full day stay with sightseeing of major heritage sites and trip preparation.

From Kathmandu, travelers can either take a 7-hour drive or a 25-minute flight to the natural city of Pokhara. Our trekking starts from here after driving for 30 minutes to reach the starting point. Our staff team, including a guide, cooks, and supporters, carry all necessary tents, food items, and other equipment required for the Machhapuchre Trek. During the trek, you may come across other tourists, but the trekking is mostly through local rural villages, where the daily lives of the locals are interesting and picturesque.

The trekking schedules also offer the option to add Mardi Himal trekking routes or any other short activities, such as paragliding, bungee jumping, rafting, and mountain flight, to make the most of your adventure in the region.

Itinerary

Arrival at Tribhuban International Airport, Kathmandu. Overnight at Hotel 1,350
Representative from International Adventuers Treks & Expeditions Pvt. Ltd. pickup you from international airport and transfer to Hotel in Thamel. If time permit, we talk about your trip. Walking around thamel, Main touristic hub in Kathmandu.

Sightseeing and trip preparation. Overnight at hotel After your breakfast, our tour guide leads you to sightseeing around Kathmandu valley. We cover three major highlights which are UNESCO heritage sites. Bhaktapur Durbar Squire, Old king palace with living arts and architectures. Bauddhanath Stupa, A biggest Buddhist stupa. Pashupatinath temple, a Biggest Hindu temple. Come back to hotel and final preparation of trekking. Introduce with your guide and porter

Early morning breakfast in your Hotel. Take a Tourist bus to Pokhara about 6-7 hour drive via scenic Prithivi Highway enjoying short stops for lunch and scenic beauty all the way around. check in to the hotel, after freshen up, you will be free to explore Lakeside Pokhara. In Option you can take private car (6 Hours) or flight (25 minutes) to make comfortable trip

This is an easy day at first parts of trekking. after walking about 2.5 hours to ghachok and uphill trekking to Hile kharkha 3 hrs. During the trail you will enjoy with the view of Annapurna, Machhapuchhure and parts of Lamjung Himal .Ghachok is the best location to see the all of Himalayan range. Take Lunch in Ghachok and 3 hrs uphill trekking arrive in Hile Kharkha. Dinner and Overnight at tent

Morning Breakfast and then trekking start from Hile Kharkha .You can Enjoy the view of Dhaulagri ,Annnapurna and Fishtail (Machhapuchhure ) .trekking trail is equally ups and down hills. Most of time trek to inside the forest ,Quite and beautiful trek ,After arrive in Samsur Daurali you will stop for your lunch with Camping equipment .Enjoy with Jungle walking .Stay overnight at Khumai Danda With Panoramic view of Machhapuchhure. Mount Machhapuchhure is closer from here

wake-up early in the morning to view first ray of sun on he top of Fishtail (Macchapuchre). You will enjoy with quite environment with grass ground. After breakfast, start trekking to Korchan with packed Lunch .The view from the Korchan is stunning. Mount Annapurna ,Mardihimal ,Fishtail and other mountain are just in front of you.Stay couple hours to enjoy the view then hike back to Khumai Danda (downhill) .Stay overnight with Camping gears.

Early morning wake up to explore around the Machhapuchhure Himal with full range of Annapurna. Breakfast and then Down hill trek to Mirsha Village .Its Gurung communities who make you warm welcome in their village. Good home-stay facilities .Stay overnight at Mirsha with Camping gears .Enjoy night with some local organic food with local peoples.

After breakfast start trekking down hill to Ghachok village Via Tatopani (Hot spring ). We also can have natural hot bath here. Reach at Ghachok, the last day of staying in Machhapuchhre Modle trekking area. It is well facilitated village .Where there is clean and good accommodation own by local peoples. Enjoy the moment with local peoples and their foods and drinks. Stay overnight at camp either.

After breakfast, trek down to Hyamja near Pokhara. it is only 2 hours trekking. Trekking route is scenic with the views of Annapurna Himalayan range and Machhapuchhure Himalaya Range. We will pick up you from Hyamja and 30 minute drive to Pokhara. Haft day sightseeing and relax at Pokhara.

It has option to drive with tourist bus in early morning, drive back to private car at your suitable time or take 25 minutes flight to Kathmandu. There are many flight schedule starts from morning and till late afternoon. reach at Kathmandu and transfer to hotel. Enjoy dinner in cultural Nepali restaurant with Nepal Highland Team.

It is day of final departure. Till departure time free yourself. Drop you to International airport before 3 hours from your original flight time.
