our trek begins in Sundarijal, an hour drive from Thamel, a town on the outskirts of Kathmandu Valley, and winds through lush forests and traditional Tamang villages. We begin our climb to Chisopani, where we usually spend the first night. The next day involves a scenic walk along the ridge to Nagarkot, a popular hill station known for its sunrise and sunset views of the Himalayas.

Itinerary

Upon arrival at Kathmandu airport, our representative will meet and greet you before transferring you to your hotel for an overnight stay in the city. Explore the vibrant streets of Thamel or relax at your accommodation.

Start your adventure with a drive from Thamel to Sundarijal, taking approximately 1 to 1½ hours. Begin the trek by hiking uphill through Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park, passing scenic waterfalls and lush forests. Reach Chisopani village at 2,194 meters altitude for an overnight stay, and enjoy amazing sunset mountain views.

Trek for 4-5 hours along a ridge line descending from Chisopani, passing through blooming rhododendron and oak forests. Arrive in Nagarkot at 2,195 meters, renowned for its panoramic Himalayan views. Spend the night here, witnessing the sunset over distant peaks.

After enjoying sunrise views, trek for around 3 hours to visit the ancient Hindu temple complex at Changu Narayan. Explore the fascinating temples before continuing your descent for 4-5 hours to reach medieval Bhaktapur. Discover the Durbar Square and historic sites before an overnight stay in this culturally rich city.
