Visiting the local village will in Chitwan will let you have an experience on the day to day life of people who live in low land areas of Nepal. Dug out canoe ride in the river will allow you to an opportunity to see the aquatic animals (local river fish, Gharial crocodiles etc.).
This tour does not involve high altitudes or any adventurous activities thus there is no age bar. Anyone can enjoy this trip as long as they are physically fit and like travelling to different places.
This tour can be done any time of the year except during monsoon / rainy season (from June to September) since there is some heavy down pour for few hours but somehow will not be an obstacle for this tour. Weather during spring is warm with fairly clear sky from March to May. During monsoon, it is bit warm, humid and cloudy sky but when it rains, the weather become cooler. October brings mild winter until half way of November. From half way November to February, Kathmandu becomes bit cold in the morning and in the evening as it is located at an altitude of 1400 meters from sea level. As Chitwan lies just 260 meters above sea level (low land of Nepal) which has sub-tropical climate, it is quite hot during spring and summer.
