Bhutan Tour Itinerary

Upon arrival in Kathmandu our representative will receive you at the airport and transfer you to your respective hotel.

Upon arrival in Bhutan via Druk Air, the national carrier, you will be greeted by our team and transferred to Kichu Resort. Enjoy the scenic flight, offering breathtaking views of the mountains and landscapes.

Embark on a sightseeing tour of Paro, starting with the impressive ruins of Drugyel Dzong. The strategic location of this fortress protected the Paro valley from Tibetan invasions. Marvel at the magnificent view of Mount Chomolhari, standing tall at 7,320 meters. Continue to the National Museum housed in the Ta-Dzong, a watchtower showcasing Bhutanese culture and history. In the evening, drive to Thimphu, the capital city, and spend the night at Hotel River View or a similar accommodation.

In the morning, explore Thimphu's highlights, including the Memorial Chorten, a tribute to the late King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck. Visit the 15th-century Changangkha Monastery and the Drupthob Nunnery Temple. In the afternoon, drive for three hours to Wangduephodrang, crossing the picturesque Dochula Pass at 3,100 meters. On a clear day, catch breathtaking views of the eastern Himalayan ranges, including the majestic Mt. Gangar Punsum. Visit Wangduephodrang Dzong and explore the local market. Overnight at Wangdi Kichu Resort.

Embark on a 45-minute drive to Punakha and visit Punakha Dzong, a historic fortress located between two rivers. This architectural marvel has withstood floods and fires throughout history. Witness the annual Punakha Serda procession held in February to celebrate the victory over Tibetans. Drive back to Thimphu for lunch and then continue for two hours to Paro, stopping at Simtokha Dzong, the oldest building in Bhutan, which now serves as a Buddhist university. Overnight at Kichu Resort.

Day 6 :
Departure

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your departure from Bhutan. Bid farewell to this enchanting country with cherished memories of your visit. Upon arrival at Kathmandu airport transfer to your respective hotel.

One of our company representitve will receive you at your hotel and transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport for your flight back to your country or to your next destination.
